Colby has been enjoying his swimming lessons. He doesn't like having to get dressed and being all wet and cold at the end, but the pool time is worth it. He is currently in a class with one other little girl who is just a few months younger than him. He has been in classes with her many times over our swimming years. We were all in the pool together when we, the parents, still had to get in with them. I can't say I miss those days. ; )
This is rare picture of them actually sitting on the steps and listening to directions. They are usually bobbing under the water non-stop. I feel sorry for teacher Katherine most of the time. They keep her busy.

Kicking with the turtle board. It gets tricky to keep your arms out in front.
Colby swims all the way to the island- he was rolling onto his back for a breath in this picture. This move is still a little tricky. Once he flips, he forgets to flip back and just starts barrel-rolling.
I missed his awesome back float. The kid floats great! In fact, he has trouble getting toys from the bottom of the pool because his butt won't sink. He looks like a duck diving for plants at the bottom. he he
