Bluey

It's time to talk about one of the important members of our family. I know that many of you cringe at the sight of my cats, but all kids LOVE Bluey. They chase him around the house, and Colby packs him around most of the time. Bluey puts up with Colby carrying him (not by the neck anymore, thank goodness), squeezing him too tight, and even laying on top of him at times. Brady even cried the other day when he realized that Bluey might die some day. This was after a nightmare that Bluey had, in fact, died. I probably shouldn't tell him that Bluey is already 10 years old.
Colby is often found kissing him and whispering sweet nothings into his ear. It's hard to tell, at times, whether Bluey likes or loathes this attention, but he rarely runs away.

Brady Lost His Second Tooth

Brady lost his first tooth back in July, so we were surprised that so much time passed before he lost another one. It actually wasn't even loose until about 3 days before it came out. The one to the left of the hole is actually his first one already grown back in.

Todd was chasing him around the room telling him he was going to pull it out and the next thing we knew, it was out, and MISSING. So there we all are, on the floor, searching. I found it and we put it in a baggy so it wouldn't get lost again.

Brady awoke to a Sacajawea dollar the next morning. He wanted me to take him directly to the Dollar Store.

OOPS!

I believe we have more than one child to make sure that they get their share of scars. : ) Well, last month Brady and Colby were running around my room, when Colby slammed the door (to keep Bluey from escaping) into Brady's ear. Talk about blood. Brady was so freaked out that they would give him stitches, but they didn't. It had swollen shut by the time they looked at it, so the tape just held it in place.
Sorry, these are out of order.
